@ranger, with the kind of trips you have made, I can see you planning a trip to the islands on the video.

I do want to go to the Bahamas some day... but first I would like to cruise the keys... gets some more experience in true coastal waters.... I mostly sail a reservoir and when I do cruise the coast it is in the Chesapeake bay or the sounds of the N.C. outerbanks.

I'd be happy (for a while) just to cruise the outerbanks. I've done most of Lake Ontario (bigger boat), and I've been hopscotching the Finger Lakes lately (trailer boat, which is why I got it :D), and would like to travel the length of the Erie Canal before moving from this area, but my sights are set on getting back to the east coast, and south enough to not have a 2-month season.

But the Keys and the Bahamas will have to wait. Bucket list stuff. :neutral:

Oh, and videos like that are always nice. At least compared to the mud water I sail in normally. :cry: You can actually see the bottom! :dance:
