The Saint said it all in his post

I've checked this site EVERY DAY for years...It's the first thing I do each morning. You certainly are entitled to an off day. No need to apologize. Thank you for all you do!

Perhaps a gift...

Like everyone else said, it's OK, I love this site and mistakes happen. On the other hand if you are still feeling guilty perhaps it would give you peace of mind if each of us in this thread got a gift certificate to the Chandlery! I'm only thinking of your feelings.

Thanks for all your efforts

Phil-- This is a great site and I enjoy it. To often the only time you talk to a "computer guy" is to report a problem. Well Phil so you lost a few hours of data . . . we will all live. Thanks for the days that you did not loose any data. You are doing a great job and if you are ever in SF look me up and I will buy you lunch! --Dan Knox

Here's my 2 cents

Just felt I'd better get in on this. Don't feel bad, what you provide is extremely useful and much appreciated. Sounds like we all probably agree on one thing; computers are the natural enemies of mankind. Guess we've all had problems with 'em. Keep up the good work !!! Bill O'Day 192 "Rocky Too"

Thank You For So Many Opportunities

I did not even feel the ripple! What you are doing for the sailing community goes beyond thank you. If it were not for this board and the information, commentary, technical support and comraderie it so proudly musters, most of us would still be caught in the irons. Thanks for all you do Phil Bob Atlanta, Ga Cat 30 Breezin II

I get it now... Your're down and looking for ...

a pat on the back for a job well done. Kind of a wierd way to go about it, but you and the crew here at sailboatowners.com deserve it. What's one day when 99.9% of what may have been posted is already stored in the archives in some for or another already. I'm still around and lurking. Tom Ehmke

Phil, You know"_ _ _ _" happens.

Remember in grade school, "The dog ate my paper." Well, today he was screwing around with my computer and you know the rest of the story......
