Hunter h23 Dallas Tx.
I use a 12.5 pound Lewmar claw (Bruce) with 60' of chain and 100' of rode on my h23 on a inland lake. Water depth of 16'-20' with a hard clay bottom. Highest wind I stayed at anchor overnight was about 20mph. I thought the rule of thumb was 1/2 pound of anchor per foot of boat. 7-1 on rode and 3.5-1 on all chain. I'm some place in the middle with good results. The fortress anchor that came with my boat would not hold on this lakes bottom with all rode. Fairwinds, Charles
