anchor roller

Has anyone installed an anchor roller on an O'day 28? My boat is a 1980 model with bow nav. lights mounted on the deck. It is possible to move the lights to the pulpit rail and this is not a problem. I suppose I am asking what size roller to look for and what style works best for a danforth style anchor. The deck should be able to handle the load and the center cleat would work out well. I want the roller because launching the anchor between the deck and the top of the pulpit is a pain. Currently I have a couple of anchor brackets to hang the anchor off of when I know I am going to set the hook but mostly I store it in the anchor locker. Long story short: If anyone has retrofitted their O'day 28 or even a 30 with an after market roller I would like to hear from you.

Thanks any help will be appreciated. The 1980 O'day 28 has a single center cleat in front of the anchor locker. Are the later model 28's cleats mounted on the stbd. and port toe rails?

The brand is windline. You can see how it was cut to make it fit. Works fine. The po hit the thing on something ( bow pulpit also). We made modified bail for it which helps with righting that Bruce when it comes up

Do you have issues with the shank hitting the roller furler when (righting the Bruce) I've got a plow and it's an issue. Don't want to raise the foot of the sail.

No I don't. Can take some pictures at deck level so you can see the clearances
