Anchor roller on a h23? Finished this morning!

Any one have a picture of a anchor roller on a h23? I am going to add one as I have 45' feet of chain between my Bruce claw anchor and my rode. It's a pita to raise it without scratching my boat. I have searched nearly all the h23 pics in sailing Texas and here with no luck.

I haven't seen anyone put one on an H23, but if you DIY it... post pics cause I'd love to do that with mine! I anchor out at the beaches a lot and it's always a PITA to pull it back up without scratching the bow.

You could fabricate a bow step, similar to the one on the attached photo, with an integrated anchor holder. It will solve all the scratched hull issues.

I have a bow sprit on my H23 I made a while back with stainless tubing and a few fittings. I added a seat as well. I do not have pic's right now but will get some soon. This was an easy job. I did it while waiting for the custom Bimini being fabricated. I have never seen another on a H23. My friends seem to love it!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll wait a week or two to order one and fit it to my boat. If I had that bow spirit Bosman posted I'd fly my furling gennaker off of it.

Installed my bow roller today. This is a SeaSense Anchor roller for boats 20' to 30'. It will take up to a 3/8 chain and up to 1" rode. 6 1/2" long. Easy install as I found the h23 had a 3/16" or 1/4" aluminum plate under the fiberglass. I assume this is for the front pulpit stanchion. I had to drill more holes in it and I added a 1-1/2" 1/4-20 bolt thru the pulpit stanchion just in case. Jumping on it weighing 170# only pushed the boat down in the water. The anchor roller never moved. Also converted my small boat Harkin furler for my gennaker into a open face furler to handle larger line. The 3.5mm line would fill the drum up before the gennaker was all the way in. Pics of it in my profile
