removehtml] Anyone else noticed the anchor locker on their Hunter 25 or larger is not sealed at the back end. Mine is open I guess to run the running light wires. I would think offshore this would be a problem for the larger Cherubinis. I plan to seal mine off in case I take a wave over the bow and I donn't do any offshore but it could happen in one of the larger sounds here in North Carolina. Maybe no one elses is open but I would check yours if you haven't already.Error: Error: expected [/URL], but found [/removehtml] instead[/removehtml]

not sealed

My locker was not sealed on my H333 so I used caulk and some foam tubing to do the job.

How big of an opening?

Considering the average burying of the bow lasts less than 5 seconds and the frequency may be several minutes apart the fear of capsizing the boat through the anchor locker may be unfounded. I would be more concerned about the size of the cockpit scuppers and their ability to drain 100s of gallons quickly. As long as no water wets the V-berth I'm fine.

Just big enough to fill the bilge when washing anchor

While it is not a large opening it is large enough to fill my bilge when I washed my anchor and was not aware of it. I feel it should be sealed but it would not be often when it caused a problem.
