On my O'day 28, one of my anchor locker hinges fractured across the two screws on the deckside of the hinge. In looking at the other one, I can see signs of its time is limited (and was the easier one to remove) - see photo. I would like to replace both. I did speak to Rudy (at D R Marine), but they don't have any and are currently trying to source a manufacture of them with the current hole pattern - i dont fancy drilling new holes into the deck.
Does anyone know where else I can get two. [in the meantime I did find some white nylon ones in West Marine that I drilled out to the same hole pattern, but just do not look right].
A question on the AC unit which I assume is factory installed on the 25th Anniversary edition (in the nav station cabinet next to the quarterbunk). Where does the condensate from the drain pan end up?
I think mine gets an air lock or something (crud) since it does not appear to drain well. I can use one of the "puffer type things" and force water down the hole and it sucks the rest out, but gradually the pan fills above the outlet tube again. I tried following the tube but it disappears below the sole liner (probably somewhere close to the icebox drain as that equally disappears when looking in the cabinet under the sink).
