I’d like to create space in the bow, forward of the v-birth, for anchor chain and rode. Has anyone done this? Is there a practical way to deal with the anchor and chain/rode on the Mac 25? The space is there (I recently repaired by bow eye). I’m wondering if I need to keep all of the foam there still if I decide to store my anchor chain there. Also, how do people practically retrieve the anchor chain/rode from the locker without a windlass? Not sure if my questions are clear. Any help, as always, is appreciated.
