Is there any way to keep rain/waves from admitting water into the anchor locker? The locker has the opening for the rode so water is always getting in and draining out the drain hole leaving the line wet and never drying. Do I just live with it?
Yup, we all just live with it. However, if your really fussy and keep the locker absolutely spotless, it won't leave quite as bad of a stain down the bow. How are you going to do that?
HI guys I have hooks that I hook my Road and chain on I have 200 'of5/8 road and 20' 3/8 chain and 150' of1/2 road " with 1/4" chain the way my locker is formed the water comes in the frount and back the sides dont realy leek much, thats where the hooks are I havethe chain and 100' of road on one hook and the rest on another I dont use more then 100' of road very much .If the road gets wet It drips off and drys fast and the hole in the locker stays more clearand dosent flood much John Olson
