I need to buy 2 150 foot (2 anchors) sections of braided nylon anchor line with the thimble already attached. I can't seem to find this combination anywhere. Any suggestions?
Thought Sailnet(see link) might have it but only see 3-strand. But I am sure they would make them up if you are reluctant to do your own splicing(http://www.neropes.com/splice/default.htm). Sailnet has a complete rigging shop. Call them and then let us know.
I read many articles from various sources that indicate 3-strand is better for anchor lines because it resists the wear and tear of an anchor line better.

If you really want braided line, Samson cordage makes their superstrong series which I've used. Practical Sailor rated New England Ropes 3 strand nylon line far superior in abrasion resistance to any other line (3 strand or braided) out there.
