Can anyone recommend a good low-current drain anchor light to use aboard a Catalina 320? I would suppose one could run it up using the spare jib halyard.
Fix the one on the masthead. They used to sell lantern type units, but I believe they stopped due to not meeting the required light output and fear of lawsuit. I have a kerosene light I use as a suplement, but the only legal one I know of is the masthead.
I have found the "Davis" deck light to be a versatile and flexible low voltage light . It can be hung pretty well anywhere, and can be plugged in or hard wired, and has good visibility at night
