Oil Lamp Anchor Light
Here is an oil lamp that I use in the cockpit at night and then hang in the rigging as an anchor light. Bought on eBay new for $25 (same one West sells for $169). Has a fresnel lens that can be seen for miles. Uses less than 2 ounces of parafin in 8 hrs. (it would burn anything, but the parafin is the cleanest)
