Anchor lamp

I have an 87 h-31 and the anchor lamp is out.Does anybody know what number/type replacement lamp is required?Would like to make only one trip up there if you know what I mean.Thanks------Dana

Been up there

I've been up there on my 84 31. I don't know if the 87 is the same ,but mine had a simple automotive type bulb with a single contact. I know a w-63 will work and it is the same size, although I don't know the number. It is the old style like a old taillight bulb with a single contact.

equipment, Hunter MArine should know. I had a booklet with bulb specifications that came with my 89 Hunter 30. My mast head light just went out last weekend. I had to cross reference the AquaSignal number since it had changed over the years but I have what is supposed to be the bulb. I am taking two up with me just in case one decides to jump out of my shaking hand.Doug s/v BRENDA GAIL

Thanks guys, I have since asked an ol'salt @ the marina and he 'happened' to have some written info on the lamp.Jim, it is a 63, I wrote down the type.Thanks again and regards---Dana
