Anchor deployment

Any H44 owners out there with a Rochna 33 installed? Interested in setup of the roller. I need to push mine out and if I allow a bit too much free chain on doing that, the anchor swings and can hit the bow stem. Wondering if I can modify the roller assembly somehow. TIA.

Put a cleat on the pulpit and tie the anchor hoop to the cleat. Problem solved.

Thanks Stu but the problem is with deploying the anchor. It goes out but the shank will catch the furler and then will swing if I let too much chain free. Anchor is out now. I’ll post a pic later. Cheers

I used a small "bow fender" and got the anchor in a ready to go position ie. with the center of gravity far enough forward to deploy the anchor upon release. Life became much simpler when I swapped to a Vulcan.

Thanks, I have since marked the chain at the point where the centre of gravity is downward then I release the anchor to that point and stop. The I can deploy it without fear of it hitting the bow.
