anchor and achor roller

Hallo Vega friends.I have a Bruce anchor 10 kg. But my Vega does not have an anchor roller.I guess not every type of roller will make a good mach with this type of anchor.Can anyone give an advice what roller to buy?Bob HorjusVega 3384 Voordewind

Hi Bob,I had on the Vega I used to have (Sin Tacha, now Walkabout) a Windline BRM-4.It was very satisfactory and I wish i could fit one on my present boat. It required a wooden block underneath to raise it up to the bulwark level, and was bolted through the deck to a reinforcing plate below. Launching the anchor was easy and it never bumped on the topsides. It's under Anchor Rollers at http://www.windline.comPeterwww.mostlyaboutboats.ca

Bob, I agree with Peter, very satisfactory. They have gotten quite expensive over the years since I bought ours. Check out different suppliers as it now seems everyone is carrying Windline clones at lessor prices.
