Analogic tachometer for MD7A

Hello fellow Vega sailors,

Did any of you connect an analogic tachometer to the alternator of the MD7A, making the right connection, as there is no W terminal? Is it possible to do that? I have an alternator SEV Marchal 70229402 027.
I know from previous msgs about the Tiny Tach, but would like to fix a standard analogic one that would fit the Log place (84 mm fitting).

FYI- If you use the stock magnetic sensor on the MD6A there are several analogic
tachs available for around $100 - but you need to ensure that the one you get
can be adjusted for the number of teeth on the shaft the sensor picks up it
signal from - if my memory serves me right it's 43 teeth. If you or anyone
needs a new sensor contact me - I have one available.
