Hello. Any one know where to get AC amp meter guage for 2003 426? It is analog 1.5 inches in size. I can't seem to find one anywhere. Or thoughts on other options?

Post a picture please. I know of some electronic supply houses that could have a meter that would fit. Specific dimension would help. Meanwhile I will look for the link to the supply I am thinking of.

Blue Sea make ammeters. Looks like a 120V one. Have you tried local electrical shops?

Your panel appears to be a Paneltronics product. They made many of the electrical panels for Hunter boats. When we purchased our 1991 boat in 2002 the DC amp meter was dead from some sort of surge causing the heat sink to melt. Contacted Paneltronics and they sent me an identical replacement. You can reach them here: Paneltronics: Electrical Panel Manufacturer

The heat sink was integrated into the back of the instrument.

Terry, if the heat sink had heavy gauge wires attached to it, it's probably a shunt. They do look like heat sinks. They are a precise low resistance resistors. When the current passes through it on the heavy gauge wires it will cause a small voltage drop across the shunt, the voltage is carried to the meter my a pair of small wire if its a remote unit.

Example: At work we commonly use a 1200 amp 50 mV shunt. If the current flow was 1200 amps the shunt output would be 50 mV. If the current was 600 A the shunt output would be 25 mV. Easy.

Just an FYI.
