The Ammeter in my cockpit hasn't ever seemed to work properly. Theneedle barely moves off zero in the center. I have made a schematic ofmy boats wiring (see picture) and I am very puzzled about how theammeter is wired. The boat originally had only one battery bank thenlater a second was added along with Split Charge Diodes (before I boughtit). The way its wired now it seems the ammeter is in parallel with theSCDs. The wiring to the meter is fairly heavy, probably #10 gauge so Ithink before the SCDs were added all of the charging/discharging currentwent through the meter.What do you think? Is it wired correctly?Thanks
