Reading the sports over a cup of coffee this morning in the Providence Journal, I stumbled across the follwing article: "17th man" Observer Pulls His Weight for His Country.What's is like to ride 17th man on the crew of an America's Cup boat? You never really get to see a good newspaper article regarding sailing, but your right, this was good.What an honor he had given to him and I guess he got all they could throw at him.Isn't that usually reserved for the paying guests ($100k and up)? I've been to Newport on the American Eagle, and that's an adventure all it's own. I can just imagine his ride on todays yachts.Thanks for sharing this with us.
