Derek, Chris, Fellow Kiwis and All Sailors, The Emirates NZ Team seemed to do well despite challenges from all sorts of unexpected quarters. Fred Doubtful, Joe Scumbucket's brother the local roving Satellite TV gringo enabled me to be ready for May 16. 600 channels of virtually nothing. Bullriding seems to be Versus' forte. Give me a good sailboat race over all that porn anyday. I watched all the americascupanywhere.com shows and thoroughly enjoyed them and the good commentary. Have to rise at 6am to watch but worth it. Damn that Alinghi is one hot boat. Makes you ponder what will happen should they go with their new boat. Might be scary. I thought BMW Oracle might be all over the Kiwis like a bad rash, but they kept to themselves largely. Keep it up Kiwis, Pete

good show kiwi's

Nice to see the Kiwi's do well. It's too bad that the races were not live on TV, virtual was good, but just not the same. To me there is nothing more exhilarating than watching 12 $ 1.0M bumper boats compete for the start line and rounding the bouys, not the same rush on virtual. I too was surprised that USA did not do that well, but they may yet crank it up for te finals. Looking forward to a great series in a week..... especialyy now that the Leafs are out of the Stanley Cup. :(

Yep - "we" did ok!

I hate to say it, but I thought that BMW-Oracle looked much better on average than Emirates-NZ, and it might have been a different story if they hadn't had the headsail foil problem. And as Pete says Alinghi looks to be almost unbeatable... But fleet racing is a different animal than match racing, and "we" take two bonus points into the Louis Vuitton... should be interesting *5

these two

The Official site http://www.americascup.com/en/ and the "live racing" site http://www.americascupanywhere.com/us/ although it is $39.95 it was / is worth it as I "watched" the races via virtual simulations and listened to the commentary and since the races were not on real TV it was the next best thing. If you click on the Internet TV on the first page it takes you to free TV highlights of the past races. BTW Derek, since I'm north of the border "we" are not necessarily rooting for Oracle :)

Thanks Scott B

Scott: Website works thru your link. It kept knocking me off my computer when I tried it earlier, without the /en Dick K. in hot AZ this time of year, and rooting for the Kiwi's
