Amazing Sailing Performance

Averaged 26.5 kts for 45 days ! touched on a max speed of 48 kts.. Put in a 24 hour run of 908 miles.. Those boys are in a hurry !!
Congrats to the crew and support folks of Banque Populaire V !!

48 knots!!! Great Solcum's ghost! What madness! How did they even walk around on deck going so fast. Can you imagine going overboard? I know I helocasted at 45 knots and it almost killed me when I hit the water.
Betcha they all peed in their pants it was so exciting.

I was thinking the same thing (well actually I didn't invoke Slocum's ghost but..)

For you lubbers that 55.3 mph. I've had my little MacGregor surfing at about 9 kph and it definitely made me nervous. I'm trying to imagine what it would feel like to go that fast without the sound of an engine... it must have been surreal.
