I`ve been wondering if anyone does stuff like crossing to Hawaii in a catalina 25 swing keel. Asumming I was prepared and provisioned in a proper way would I be nuts to try this? I`ve heard that San Diego to Hawaii is the downwind milk run for first time ocean crossers.Mine is a 1982 in excellent condition.
