Am I missing something?

Lately I've noticed that responses are being cut off in mid-sentence, in fact, I'm wondering how much of this one will be lost. I've also noticed that many querys have a number of replies listed on the left of the topic line, but none appear. Am I the only one, or have others noticed this problem, and is there anything to do about it?

Phil, here is one.

The Related Link contains a response from me entitled "Frig Cycling". This was originally a pretty long response.

frig recycling

Hi Ed, I restored the full text of your post. It appears that every now and then a post is being truncated at the point of a quote mark ("). But not all the time, as your last reply proves. the full post is in the archives, but not in the forum although the code to append it is identical. This is much like when you take your car to the mechanic because it's making a funny noise, but of course the nose is gone when you get there. Of course, a good sailor would remove the engine, sell it on ebay, then replace it with a Universal diesel, using the money saved on the mechanic to buy bottom paint.

Solved

Replies were truncated at quote symbols (") when they were restored on 1/18, the day all active relies were deleted. I will try to fix this but also know that in a few days all of these posts will rotate off the site; they are OK in the archives. Sorry about that.
