I have a 260 and I cheated and mounted mine on my mast crutch. I mounted the radio next to the stairs and ran the antenna wire aft and up the mast crutch. I do not trailer my 260 so it is only in the way once a year when I pull out. I bolt it there with a wing nut so it is not hard totake down out of the way. It works fine except when I am in a very deep canyon with some stations.Corky
With my situation when I bought the boat the radio was already mounted in the cabin next to the steps in the side wall of the storage area under the sink. I just purchased a flexible rubber antenna that I can mount on the outside near one of the side windows and it should work out fine. I just wanted to see what other ideas were out there. Thanks again, Lynn
Lynn,I considered that mount but I dock on the port side of my boat and it might get hit and our dock is in a canyon and I needed more height.I spent three(3) years in Muncie and bummed rides on sail boats there.Corky
