Always a show on the Hudson River

Take pictures.
1) I have to find where I ms-placed my camera.
2) I have to be there when it goes past, and they have no time of departure posted.
We have a lot of tankers come down the river ( makes racing interesting at times) . Very rarely do you see them bucking the current. They time their departures to go with the current mostly. ( current flows both ways in the Hudson due to the tide.)
But, on the other hand, the upper Hudson around Albany the channel is narrow and they have to go in daytime ...

Beautiful day to sit in the sun. Weather perfect.
Members taking a break from working on their boats to watch the WW II Destroyer Escort go by.
Tide was high, so from here on, they would have the current helping them along.
Yesterday there were white-caps on the river -- today like glass.
