I did this job once but it was a while ago. I bought the kit from Catalina Direct. I had to be a while ago because I don't remember much about it other than I had a very hard time fitting the glass windows back into the frames with the new gasket. I remember the gasket pinching and stretching and the sealant making a mess. Also doing a search this morning, as an option I see a lot of people using butyl tape to seal the frame to the cabin. I have a 1977 C30. Has anyone done this job recently with any tips to share?

Go to Main Sail's profile page and you can order the butyl tape directly from there. I just ordered some myself.

At the top of this page where it says "Members" ... click on that.... and Main Sail's tag comes up in the list. Click on that.

... once you are on Main Sails' page, click on the tab that says "Information" and at the bottom of that page you can order the butyl tape.
