Fellow sailors; My alternator regulator, a Cruising Equipment AmpHour+, has died for the last time. I'm tired of spending money to bring it back, so it's time to upgrade. Can I get some opinions on what anyone has, how you like it, any comment at all, before I lay my plastic down. A little background; I have a Beneteau 40, with a 50 horse Perkins, a Balmar 125 amp, a house bank of two 8Ds with 430 amphours plus a dedicated engine start battery, linked by a West Marine combiner. So which is it, Ample Power, a Link 2000R, or what? Thanks to all who reply.
