Alternator Mount

The adjusting bolt sheared off of my alternator mount. I understand that there is a modification kit available for this mount to change the location of the pivot belt and avoid the potetial of cracking the gear box housing. Does anyone know anything about this. I am interested to know how hard, or easy, it is to install.

Very Easy!

I did the install myself for my M25 a few years ago, and it was very easy. Unblot the old one and bolt on the new one. I can't remember the details, but I think a new belt was needed. Give a call to Westerbeke and they can send you the kit. Very easily worth the peace of mind.
