Thanks for you input.The engine ran away due to too much liquid in sump,this caused increased sump pressure,which was vented to intake manifold. Engine ran away for about two minutes,fortunately I was in gear and only reached about 3500 RPM. big cloud of smoke behind me. Since I have already ordered a new yanmar pump,I will use it, just curious what others thought of electric pump idea. Good luck red
