Almost Running Out of Winter Projects ............

........... here in soggy Vancouver.Has anyone ever come across a vendor for the fancy galley splash guard brackets that Jenneau uses on their galley counter tops. These are the fancy, polished, stainless steel brackets shown in the attached photo.I'm looking at installing a splash guard in our '99 H-310 primarily to keep the dish water off the setee as well as a winter project to keep me occupied for the remainder of our miserable wet winter.Thanks for your help.Best regards,s/v Island Hunter

I wish I was there

RalphI can't help you with the splash guard. I'm responding because I'd love to be on the Soggy west coast. It's minus 16 degrees here in Edmonton and we are supposed to be happy because it's WARMED UP!!. My wife and I keep our Hunter 33 in Oak Bay on the Island and I'd give anything to be sailing in the rain. I stayed on our boat for a week last month and found it very interesting to try to sleep while the boat was heeled over 15 degrees in the storm winds. And this was in the marina. I got out for a few day sails and loved the peace and quiet of winter sailing.Take careBrad

We have a winter vacation home in Maine and would be interested in this type of an item to mount on a counter-top to avoid splashing onto a smaller shelf where I keep a laptop. There are no risers to stop any water.

Hunter is putting splash guards on their newer models.Maybe they can turn you on to their vendor.

they are easy to make...out of stock aluminum

that you can buy at home depot. However a more elegant solution would be to route the fiddles on the counter edge and install the plexi panels into the groves, not requiring brackets at all.
