We are on the hard for the winter so that is when I like to do projects. The boat is under a tarp so I can climb up and in and work on it. I agree that knowing all of the systems is beneficial, and for me fun, but let's not be too hard on people who use hired help. There are more than one way to get things done. I'm sure there are horror stories of do-it-yourselfers who really screwed up and paid the price.

Labor of love

The way I see it if people wring their hands about the boat labor they either have too much boat or theyre not really enjoying the entirety of the experience. I love going to the boat in April and painting, varnishing, cleaning, getting ready for a new season. Lawrence
