LaDonna Bubak - Planet Catalina

The Columbia River All Catalina Association is taking shape in Portland. The owners of Catalina sailboats are forming an association with the International All Catalina Alliance to provide members with many benefits. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, April 26 (two days from today!) at Damon's Restaurant, 1712 N Hayden Island Dr in Portland at 6:30 pm. (Damon's is right next to Barnes & Noble in Jantzen Beach Shopping Center. The purpose of the meetin gis to socialize with other Catalina Owners, approve the Association's Charter and Name, nominate and elect officers, and schedule 2000 cruises and other activities. Come & win some great door prizes. If you own a Catalina, then come and join us for the meeting and be the start of something great! If you have questions, call Michael Lewis at 503/981-7467. (This is a great opportunity for all us Portland area Catalina owners to get together - c'mon down!) LaDonna

Wish I were there!

This sounds like such a good idea. I am a member of the C-36 National Association but wanted a local group. Hats off to whom ever is the organizer! I do have a Catalina C-36 (along with 4 others on my dock in Hayden bay) and would love to be there but have previous engagements in(Pacific Sailboat Show) San Francisco. Please count me in, as I will join ASAP. email brobeson@quixnet.net
