I posted this for Phillip. Just some more info:Sorry some of you haven't heard anything from us for a while. Seems like Sprint got wise to the back door internet thing and pulled the plug. So now the only internet access I have is when we find a freebie wifi hotspot. Anyway, we are alive and well, and moving right along. Arrived in the state of Fla. yesterday evening. Laid up today, as a front was coming through, with gale force winds, lots of rain and you know the rest. Marina we were in had no power, as they had a short in something under the dock and it all blew up. Running the office off a generator. Thought about going on and taking our chances this morning, but the wind had us pinned hard against the dock, and we were in a pretty tight area. Those of you with sailboats know about backing one of these things up. So, are heading out in the morning. Plan to be in St. Augustine fairly early Sat., and visiting with Lois sister who lives there. Then about three or four days and we will give the Okeechobee waterway a shot. Going to be interesting, as there is a bridge with 49' clearance, and we need 55 or 56 feet. There is a guy there who tips the boat over with barrels of water tied on the boom to get boats under the bridge. We are not going to do it for certain, but going to check it out. He has been doing this for a long time, and it apparently works pretty good. All is well with us and the boat. Weather is kind of snotty, but much warmer than a few weeks ago. At least it is tolerable. And I finally put my insulated underwear away, at least for now. Will write more whenever I can find a wireless hookup, but if you don't hear anything, don't worry.
