Have a 1995 Hunter 420 Passage, with a Isomat mast --- found defective welds around bottom spreaders. The break is unusal -- it is in the middle of the weld bead which hold the base of the spreaders. Of course, with a partial breaks in the weld you could lose the strenght at any time under sail, then you will lose the spreaders and most likely the mast.
