A few months ago on the Catalina 30 site, there was a company listed that did these conversions, but is no longer there. Does anyone have this information?

Conversion

Stu, thanks for the response, but I did search the archives and the specific company I was looking for was not in these responses. It was originally in the FAQ section on the Catalina 30 site but has been deleted.

These guys do it, or at least did a few years back. I talked to them but they couldn't convert mine. Seems limited to specific models. Web site below.

Thanks for that Gord

Proof positive for what I have been saying since 1986 when we installed propane in our new H34; 'it can't be done'. There is almost no paragraph of the standard that can be complied with, in my installation. But, I've never had a problem.

Appears to be the wrong ABYC link, Gord

Since any attempt to download documents here requires a prior purchase. Also, could you perhaps enlighten us about your particular reasons for providing a CO link in the context of this thread? CO-related aspects of alcohol-to-propane stove conversions don't seem to have entered the discussion yet. Have fun Flying Dutchman

Sorry for any confusion - I was just too lazy to locate the Propane Safety discussion of a month or so ago. You might get access using: Order #1271 Email: Gord@BoatPro.zzn.com
