We forgive you Fred
It is all about money and power. When I think about the money involved I am in awe.... roadside weed that sells for what???$100.00 a pound??? A kid being stupid gets caught with the weed and his parents start shelling out big bucks for lawyers/fines /drug rehabilation. The tax payers shelling out big bucks for drug enforcement, prisons etc etc... Then I think that the guy who killed and ate someone in Germany got 8 years of prison but some dumb kid could go to jail for life for selling too much pot. I mean if I shot and killed my neighbor I am less likely to get life than if I sold him some cocaine....go figure. Personally I think someone who uses drugs has mental problems and should be treated as a mental patient not a felon. By the way I am very anti-drug. But to my way of thinking if you do something for 50 years and it doesn't work it might be time to try something else... Locking troubled teens away for life seems more like a problem than a solution.sorry back to sailing........
