Albin Vega mast and boom

I recently acquired Vega #1752 and it came without mast or rigging. Can someone tell me the length and dimensions of the mast and boom? I have not been able to find that anywhere on the internet so far.

Fred,
My mast is, within an inch, 30 feet long. I'll measure the boom when I'm at the boat. My boat is a series I, and your #1752 is probably a series II. I don't know if this affects mast lenth, but I'm sure one of our fellow forumites will know (Steve ?)

Hi Fred, As Peter said there are different Series Vegas. Mine is also a Series 1 but has a Series 2 mast. I had an extra mast and figured a bit more sail area couldn't hurt.
I'll measure mine later today. Just as an aside, Catalina 25 mainsails fit quite well. Might want to consider them as a potential source for mast and boom. Lots of them out there and hurricanes have a way of putting large amounts of used parts on the market. Walt To: AlbinVega@yahoogroups.com

Hi Fred, Getting confusing here. Peter's Series 1 mast is 29' 11". My Series 1 mast was 29' 3" amd my Series 2 mast is 29' 9". I guess mast changes were made throughout the production runs.
My boom is 11'6" and is not origional. I had it made to the same length after trying to rig a preventer to the vang attachment point. Big mistake. An accidental jybe snapped it in two. Rig preventers to the end of the boom.
