Alarm buzzer replacement

Ibelieve that the buzzer on my instrument panel (2GMF) is not reliable (intermittent). I have checked the Yanmar price for it and they want $144. I hate to pay that much for a 12V buzzer but at the same time I know it protects a $$$$ engine. Does anyone know of a less expensive replacement?

Hello Rafi: If you are certain the trouble is with the buzzer,I don't see a problem replacing it with a generic type. I haven't had a problem with mine,but did have to replace one on my fishing boat. I used a weatherproof horn from a car alarm system. It's been working ok now for two years. Good luck red
