Alabama coast woes

Help!My marina (Pirates Cove) was destroyed by hurricane Ivan and will not be rebuilt. I need to locate a marina/lift with available yard space for a 37' cutter in the Mobile-Pensacola area to repair Ivan damage. I will also eventually need a dock or slip to tie up to. Are any nearby repair facilities to the point they can accept another boat "on the hard" ? Does anyone have a pier or slip I could rent?Thanks,RS 334-257-1003 rshelby@msa-stoneville.ars.usda.gov

Try Turner Marine

Turner Marine might have space. They have a pretty big yard and a travel lift. They are located on Dog River upper Mobile Bay. I was told that they suffered little damage. But I haven't been there since Ivan.Tom

Richard, There is plenty of room at Turner's in Mobile. I am out of the water there now getting repaired. You can work on it yourself, have Turners fix it, or there are a couple of good subcontractors working there. You may have a little trouble though finding a place in the water at a reasonable price. I sure hate to hear they are not rebuilding pirates cove. Have you heard any news about rebuilding of the bar ?
