The water was drained from our pressurized water system for the winter. Now there is air in the system. I have run the pump to fill the system, with the faucets open, but this does not work. The faucets in the galley and head spit water and air. Anyone have a way to fix this. I've checked the achieves to no avail.

:) You stopped to Soon

You have to bleed every line. Meke sure that water is reaching your pump and the impellors are not running dry. Do this by opening the water line at the input side of the water pump until water runs out. Reattach the line and then run the pump until a steady stream comes out of each faucet.

To add just a little to what Jim said...

Make sure there's enough water in the tank to keep the pump from running dry again...and open ALL faucets--hot and cold, and any fresh water washdown too--before turning on the pump again after you've reattached the input line.

Pressurize

When I went to commission my water system this spring, I could not get the Flo-Jet to prime even though it is supposed to be self-priming. I made up a hose with a tire valve in one end and clamped the other on the tank's vent outlet barb, then applied a small portable tire compressor to the valve to pressurize the tank enough for the water to be forced to the pump. When the breaker was then thrown, it was able to drive water throughtout the rest of the system. Recouple the vent hose and you're in business.
