I'm planning a trip soon from baltimore to long island. Has anybody been through the Cape May canal on an s37. Anybody know the accurate airdraft of the S37? Is it less than 55 ft? thanks david utzschneider baltimore

Run a tape measure up the mast
Seriously, Dave. There were at least two different rigs so your height has to be from the same model "for sure" or you are better off measuring it. And adding for your lights, wind instruments, antenna if you have them up there too.

I didn't see this post before, hope it isn't too late to help you. I went through there last fall with an S37. I went through at dead low tide, and drug the antenna pretty hard. ( 3 foot antenna ) Estimate I had a foot to spare.

I went through the Cape May Canal in May S 37 Oct 14th 07 it was low tide and my attenna touch also.
