I am the original owner of a 1980 Hunter 33 and now that I am retired, I am getting serious about my onboard comfort at the dock. I have searched the archives and found no forums or discussions about carry-on vs. installed a/c or installation of a/c. No one has responded to the recent post by a H-27 owner either. Surely, someone out there has faced the issue of installing a/c in an older Hunter! It would be helpful in my considerations of a/c units if someone who has done it could share their experience in terms of overall difficulties, any units (by brand and model) recommended, reliability, where the compressor was installed, overall satisfaction with your unit and would you do it again. How about it...anyone listening (reading)?
