Grew up boating on Lake Michigan. Sorry, mostly power boats until I bought a Sailfish. Moved away in 1974 and still miss the lake. Thanks for the video.

unfortunately the days between the really great Lake Michigan sailing and snotty weather days are few as you get into October. Yesterday, great, today winds 25 knots and gusting. Cold front went through last night with the usual thunder and lightning. Frost tonight, then really nice next week.
The old adage about Michigan weather holds true: " if you don't like it wait 15 minutes, it will change". Fall in Michigan is my favorite time of year, but my boat went into winter storage two weeks ago, time to play with the other toys...
