After shave lotion??????

I've never cared to use aftershave of any kind. Run into too many people who seem to bath in the stuff. Same goes for women, I prefer a girl that smells like a girl.

There is someone a half block down that can be smelled within seconds after walking out the door. Since the breeze is normally from that direction, you almost always know when they are outside.

Been in the store a few times and get behind someone that makes my eyes start to water and my nose itch.

That's often compounded by people who think scents are an acceptable alternative to showering......

I don't know why I'm answering this, I'm a guy, I don't generally talk about what "foo foo" I wear/you wear. Just don't do it.

Old Spice hasn't been real for a while since Shulton sold it to Lever Brothers or P&G or one of them.
Wore it back when, but my wife said she preferred I not smell "like her father" - he wore it.
I wear Avon Wild Country now, wore Clint for a long time.
Tried going back to English Leather and Jade East but just not the same as when I was young, single and "on the make".

I'm with Gail. I don't like the heavy scent guys. Actually my favorite guy smell is the one you get where he's been working outside all day in the sun and then maybe had a couple of beers or a glass of wine and he's kind of warm but not stinky. Mmmm. My favorite. Sorry, is that TMI?

Actually Steve, I never used patchouli. I know that there were men who did but not me. I dated some women who used it. I get a smile remembering them. Most of the women back then wore Windsong or Tabu or Chanel #9.

The closest I came to patchouli was Jovan for Men.
What about you? Any Hai Karate or Aramis or British Sterling?

If you don't remember patchouli, you must be a young one. This was eau du parfume of the 60's & 70's (all those hippies, don't you know). Actually I was an Aramis guy. I don't wear it much anymore unless I have a special request from Andrea (that would be Admiral Andrea).

Where is Blue Water Marina? We had a '85 H'31 up until about 3 years ago. I really liked that boat. The Admiral said we needed a bigger boat so we made the leap to a HV'36. We really like the additional space, it sails really well and there is no standing rigging. What else could I want (don't ask).

There is nothing wrong with just plain clean and soapy smell. Hot and sweaty is fine too but after a day or two we all start to smell a little too human aka rancid. When we start to stink we need to go jump in the lake. When we were kids and our farm dog started to smell too much like a dog we would drop him into the creek for a quick rinse and shake.
