Yeah it is strange that the lazarette does not have its own drain, but the high lip under the bench seat cover seems sufficient to redirect water into the cockpit. Always make sure its clean so water does not back up. Its those scupper drain hoses that get rotten and hard that are a big problem back there.

On the starboard side are 2 large holes for hoses, vents, blower, etc but the hoses a tight fit and sealed with caulk. Thinking about "unsealing" them so the las can drain. I get water in there when I aggressively hose the cockpit and the las stays damp. I store life jackets in there, they mildew...yuck
