I've never had stern slap when at anchor.but it is one of the best additions we have added for our evenings on the hook.
Thread a line through them. Tie off to the stem pulpit, and float them at the stern....Please explain the pool noodle deployment/attachment method
Thanks
Yes, I used top liner and glued it down around the rudder post and aft. Results were less than noticeable. Tried two noodles, maybe I didn't have enough. Hard to keep them under the stern and/or fouling the rudder. We get slap at anchor and at the slip, it just has to be the right size wake to make the slap.Just curious if anyone has tried to line the inside of the hull with noise deadening foam to quiet the waves slapping stern.
Our First 36.7 has a wide transom with a very wide flat bottom for the last 1/3 of the boat. A particular wave action on the bow will set off a very nasty slap. Perhaps the Jenneau is the same.I've never had stern slap when at anchor.
any down at the horse barn they are called emission control devices...they are strapped under the rear of the horse when they are scheduled to be in the streetsI think I've heard it referred to as a diaper.
