I have a leak down the back wall of the aft cabin in our H28. The leak is located beneath and aft of the steering pedestal, however there are no cracks to be found anywhere in this area. I have also check the bolts holding it down and they seem to be ok. Adding to the frustration of not being able to find it is that it's only on the inside of the inner (cabin) wall. The back side which faces the fuel tank shows no signs of water at all. Any thoughts??? Thanks!

Cockpit drains?

Steve: What do you think about the cockpit drains. Could the water be getting in under the drains and then leaking between the sole and the liner? It may be worth rebedding the drains for a try.

Check Cover Plate

I had a leak in the screw holes for the cover plate that covers the stearing cable. I just caulked the holes and the leak stopped.
