I have seen posted questions about leaks at the aft bulkhead on my particular model and others. I was wondering if anyone has come up with any answers? It is something I sure would like to get repaired before next season. Any help from anyone would be great.

Found Leak

We had a leak on our aft bulkhead and ulimtately chased it down to the screws holding the floor covering down in the cockpit. They worked their way loose and, with the wood core, the water worked its way down into the aft bearth bulkhead. We pulled the floor covering, drained that water, plugged the screw holes, used lots of resin to fill up the rotted wood, and replaced it all. So far, so good. Brad

leak reply

It is about right in the middle of the bulkhead, underneath the dip for the steering pedastal.

Hose ?

Although I have the 28's little sister, a buddy of mine had a leak in his 28 and it turned out to be a broken hose in the same position you're talking about. I think he had to cut a small access hole to replace it, but found it from the starboard locker.
