I've noticed the Bomar Hatch in the aft cabin of my 2004 H33 is allowing water to get in during heavy rains or while washing the boat. This is the escape type hatch right about the aft berth. I've noticed for some time that the handles appear to be "loose" and not allow for a tight fit when closed. This is compared to the overhead hatches in the salon and v-berth. The gasket around the hatch is fine, no knicks or missing pieces. Has anyone else noticed that with these hatches. Any suggestions on how to get a more secure seal would be greatly appreciated.

You can get new gasket material...

From Bomar or Hunter Marine and you can also adjust the handles to dog down tighter. Loosen the nuts behind the handles and turn the screws in tighter.

When I removed the screw on the handle, mine didn't seem to have any nuts or bolts behind them. It appears it's all one piece. Does anyone know what model Bomar hatch is on the 33 so I can order the new gasket material. I took a look at the website, it wasn't that informative. Any help would be appreciated.
