Does anyone know where I can buy new matresses for the aft berth (below the cockpit) for a H260? Thanks!

Many fabric stores have a supply of high density foam matress material in various thicknesses. Take them your measurements or a heavy paper pattern and they will cut it for you. You can choose the fabric you want to cover the mattress and sew it yourself, or have an upholstery shop do it for you. Then, there is always Sailrite and the HOW chandlery could have what you need. Somewhere out there is a company that will custom make a mattress for you, but you will need to track them down. Try This Old Boat or Cruising World.

Upholstery shop
As Mike said, make a hard pattern out of poster board and bring it to an upholstery shop. They can cut the foam and cover it with a fabric that will compliment your existing fabric. You will probably need to have the matress made in two pieces to get it in to the aft berth. It would be worth it to me to have it done professionally (IMHO).

Last fall I took the cushions from the aft berth to an upholstery shop and had them make and fit new high density foam cushions. The result is great! Much more comfortable mattress and very usable for sleeping on it. I let them measure and fit the new foam. The original stuff is very cheap material and basicaly useless for the weight of an adult.

We are quite happy
with our Therma-pedic (SP?) mattress topper over the stock foam. It adds 2" and almost makes it so you can't feel the hard surface. We have the same topper in our camper and the full mattress set up at home. We love 'em. Bought it through a catalog. Cap'n Jim Grizzly Bear
